Fall Off the Mountain at Your Own Expense

Only two days ago, I wrote here about the idiot father who took his son out of bounds and cost all of us a fortune for a rescue team to find them.

Now a young skier has died and a snowboarder is in hospital because they ventured out of bounds.

Am I supposed to feel sorry for either of these delinquent fools?

Living dangerously has its perils.

Charge these miscreants the full cost of search and rescue and charge them with a criminal offense.

Post large notices that say, "Venturing out of bounds is a criminal offense. It is highly dangerous and extremely expensive. You've been warned."

In Italy, people drink wine as a matter of course. I've seen one drunk in 12 visits.

Here, we have to get shit-faced.

We are a juvenile culture.

"World class?" You've got to be kidding.
